Three Christmas cards

Hello!

Let me present you my three Christmas cards.

First one - a little bit vintage card

Second one - shaker card

In the shaker area I put some artificial snow - it looks so wintery inside :)

Third one - red&one card

Card turned out shiny because of all these embossing (I heat embossed white Christmas ornaments on the red cardstock). And the jingle bells make the card jingle when you take/shake it :)

Christmas is coming! Do you feel it? :)

Wish you a very merry Christmas!!!

Mixed Media Layout "Faire un voyage"

Hi, it's me again!

Today I want to share this layout with you

I had I lot of fun creating it. It was like a flight of imagination.
I really wanted to spread these blue, turquoise and a bit of grey colors from my picture to the layout.

This picture was taken in Deauville (Basse-Normandie, France). It was an exiting trip around Calvados region!

And now some close-ups:

As there are a lot of doors and windows - I think this layout perfectly matches the December "Doors and Windows" challenge of  Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo

Holiday Card "Winter Night"

Hello!
Let me show you my latest card. And, of course, it's a Christmas one!

For my background I did water-coloring by myself. The title was heat embossed with white powder. And then a Snow stencil with some modeling paste gave a great dimension to the card.
I did fussy cutting of two houses and the tree (that I previously stamped on heavy paper) and gave them some dimension with foam pads. And for more winter feeling I glued some artificial snow on the roofs of my houses.

I must admit - I really missing snow and cold in winter! Here in Paris temperature doesn't fall down much and snow it's a luxury (it melts and doesn't stay on the ground).

Have a great day!

Mixed Media Layout "Perfect"

Let me present you my new layout.

This is my sunny little girl :) I took this picture about a half year ago. Since then I have always been wanted to scrap it. But this photo required a special background. I think I succeeded to create an appropriate atmosphere...

At first I want to show you the texture:

Mixed-Media layout "Sweetheart"

Hello!

I want to share my new mixed-media layout.

This page was inspired by the color challenge of Words&Paintery, who celebrates it's first anniversary. Congrats ladies!!!!

For this layout I decided to scrap a photo of one of my lovely daughters. She loves crafting as much as I do and always excited about everything I create. She is my muse!

Here is some close-ups:

Mixed-Media Canvas "FALL"

Hello!
I hope you had a great week-end.

I've made something new.
This canvas was interesting to create.

For background I used old book pages which were glued with Mod Podge and then gessoed. After that I took a Dots stencil and transparent 3D Matte Gel to create some texture on my canvas. To add a color I sprayed Smooch Spritz and Lindy's paints. The first one is very shimmery, that's gave a really great effect on the canvas.

The trunk and every single branch of the tree were carefully sculpted by hands and then colored. Leaves were punched from different papers. A swing I made from a tiny peace of chipboard and burlap thread. And for more dimension I mounted a swing on the foam pads.

"LOVE" canvas

Hi there!!!

I have a canvas to share today!

I began this project by first cutting light chipboard into pieces. Then glued them overlapping with gel medium.
To receive such grey shadow for my background I mixed black and white gesso.
Then added die-cuts, flowers and leaves, buttons and chipboards. Covered them all with the same mixture of gesso. Some of embellishments I painted in gold and for others just gave a touch of gold using gold paint and gold paste.

With this canvas I would like to enter into the challenge Bumaga-Maraka the moodboard of which is so rich and inspiring for me :)

Thanks for stepping by.

Mixed-Media Jumbo Tag

Hello there!

To alter the tag was a challenge for me. Don't know why but it's not my format. Not yet...

I cut the tag from heavy chipboard and covered its both sides with brown acrylic paints.
The background texture was created using some tissue paper (previously stamped) with Mod Podge.
Then I used Lindy's sprays to give a vintage look to the tag. I did some wall fragments using a brick stencil and modeling paste, and colored it in brown with my brush.

Remember the old french book I wrote about earlier? So for this project I used some pages again! I just teared some stripes and distressed them. Also I colored a white cotton fabric with black tea - it gave the perfect vintage color. I used flowers (Prima's and homemade), chipboards, burlap thread, buttons, metals and wooden embellishments.

Hope you like it like I do :)

Sea photo frame

Yes, I know that outside is autumn already... But I really wanted to save some sea memories from the summer. Besides that I had a lot of sea shells that we brought from the seaside and I could not leave them lying just like that... So I decided to alter a photo frame!

I bought a simple cheap frame and covered it with 2 layers of white gesso. But the frame seemed to me not enough white so I painted it in white with acrylics. I glued some burlap thread and then all these sea shells.
At the end I added a touch of texture paste and artificial sand.

Have a nice day!

Eco Style Card

Hi there!

This card was inspired by the challenge, the theme of which is Eco Style.

As soon as I saw this challenge the image of the card just came to my mind. I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

So I found some broken branches in the Botanic Garden nearby. For my birdie I used a decoupage technique and fabricated a nest for her from raffia. For the background I took wooden pattern paper and matted it with newspaper print. And of course kraft cardstock for the base of my card!
